What happened to the quote about <foo>? It was funny!

Well, if it made the front page, it probably was! It's very, very rare for me to trim quotes after they make the page. There are two possibilities : The quote has been moved off the main page to the archive pages or the quote has been moved off the main page but not yet reached the archives.

Course of action? Wait patiently for them to show up in the archives.

You posted quotes from today! You must have missed that fabulous quote from last week!

The quotes show up on the site through two channels : The really recent stuff is from me cutting and pasting as they occur. The not so recent stuff is from me processing the backlog of log files. The backlog files can be up to two-three YEARS old.

Now, that means that *much* of the new quotable material will be posted as we go. If some quotable conversation occurred while I was logging, and yet doesn't appear, this means one of two things : either I didn't think it was funny, or I was not culling quotes at that exact time, and I will extract them when I get to that point of the backlog. In either case...

Course of action? Wait patiently for them to show up. Or submit a trimmed log of the quotes in question VIA THIS SUBMISSION FORM. DO NOT DCC THEM, DO NOT FAX THEM, DO NOT CALL ME ON THE PHONE AND READ THEM TO ME. USE THE SUBMISSION FORM.
